My name is Mitchell and I am from Amsterdam.

When I was nine, I started street dance at Jake's Dance Factory. To develop further I decided to go to a secondary school where the emphasis is more on art. When I was sixteen, I decided to make dance my profession.

After high school I started an MBO dance education at the ROC. I continued my dance education in Paris, at the IFPRO, a school known for its technical styles such as jazz and modern. In Paris I grew as a dancer, but especially as a person.
Ik heb in Parijs ook een tijdlang in de company van  Rick Odums gedanst. Rick Odums is de eigenaar van het IFPRO en een oud-student van de bekendste jazzdanser ooit: Alvin Ailey.
After three years in Paris, I decided to return to Amsterdam. Since then I have been working as a performing dancer at Untold Empowerment and teaching in various places.

What do we do in class?

My lessons mainly focus on the free aspects of the dance styles hip-hop and street dance. I'm not making you a dancer but I'm giving you the tools to make yourself a better dancer. The goal is that we make progress in a pleasant way . Because in the end, we all want to be the best versions of ourselves. If you need an old-school choreography to music from the past or learn new steps that the youth of today dances to music of today, you can contact me for everything.
